The Earnshaws have been Yorkshire farmers throughout the early 19th Century. 1 day, Mr. Earnshaw returns from a visit to the town, bringing together a ragged little boy called Heathcliff. Heathcliff becomes company and soul mate into Hindley's sister, Catherine, although Hindley, earnshaw's son, resents the child.
