The Lost Brother
Cetarti is drowning in a sea of nothing. He spends his days inside, without a job or a purpose, watching documentaries on television until one day he learns that his mother and brother have been murdered. He travels from Buenos Aires to Lapachito, a run-down town in northern Argentina's Chaco province, to deal with their bodies and collect the life insurance money. There, he meets Duarte, the town's sort of boss and a friend of his mother's murderer, who also kidnaps people for money. Cetarti's path will lead him to commit illegal acts in order to obtain the insurance money and to become involved in Duarte's shadowy dealings, resulting in an absurd and unexpected outcome. - Less
