The Lift
A lift begins displaying some inconsistent behavior, such as trapping some partygoers and not quite suffocating them, and decapitating a security guard. The technician from the lift company, felix, can not discover anything wrong with the circuitry. After he and a stunt reporter begin asking questions of the lift company's electronics partner (Growing Sun Electronics) his boss puts him on a leave of absence. A subsequent trip to a professor contributes them to feel that some experiments are being conducted. - Less
