Winona Applegate is on the fast track to becoming a celeb cook, currently running a very successful restaurant in Pittsburgh. With nerves constructing, she leaves for New york city to audition for her very own show in front of television execs. However, her car breaks down near New Holland, a small, unusual community where Winona rents a space at a regional inn run by Adam, a widower. With the local Spring Event coming up as well as the resident cook inaccessible to handle the food selection, Winona agrees to obtain her automobile repaired in time for her audition in exchange for her much required assistance in the Inn's cooking area.
