A total of 220 episodes of the animated television series Popeye the Sailor were broadcast on ABC between the years 1960 and1962. The series was produced by King Features Syndicate on behalf of ABC. Several animation studios, including Larry Harmon Pictures, Rembrandt Films/Halas and Batchelor, Gerald Ray Studios, Jack Kinney Productions, and Paramount Cartoon Studios, were responsible for animating individual episodes. It was Al Brodax who served in the capacity of executive producer for the series.
