In this beautiful animated story, Pardon-me Pete (Buddy Hackett), the official groundhog of Groundhog Day, tells the story of Jack Frost, who falls in love with a beautiful young woman and begs Father Winter to make him person so she can see him. His request is allowed, but only on the condition that by the spring he's got a purse of gold a home, a horse and a wife -- a tall arrangement! However, Jack discovers that life as a person is more complicated then he said. The lady he loves is kidnapped by the Cossack who's threatening to destroy the whole town.
