Rodrigo, a piano-tuner and prior composer dropped on hard times, begins a love affair with the Susana. When they are nearly killed by a bomb at the metropolis of Medellín Susana and Rodrigo surrender with their own attraction and fall into the arms of each other. Cocooned inside her flat above the energetic metropolis, Susana opens up to him every night and tells him that a story of each of different men in the past. Her stories motivate him to compose again, but his obsession makes him paranoid and jealous. He becomes more obsessed with her fidelity when Susana leaves her fiancée to be with Rodrigo.
