Several years in the future, four foster children encounter an extraterrestrial being who travels the galaxy collecting the last animals of any species before they become extinct, a quest that leads to the discovery of an alien being. After successfully rescuing the final elephant, a mishap forces the alien ship to crash into the farm of the foster children. Once the alien's ship is repaired, it is up to Johnny, Tabby, Finn, and Julia to get the ship and its important cargo off of the planet before government officials discover and apprehend the entire crew.
