At the beginning of the 1913 Mexican Revolution, greedy bandit Juan Miranda and idealist John H. Mallory, an Irish Republican Army explosives expert on the lam from the British, autumn in with a band of revolutionaries plotting to hit a national bank. Miranda becomes a radical hero against his will -- who are freed by the explosion -- when it ends up that the government has been using the financial institution for a hiding place for arrested political prisoners.
