Talented rookie racecar driver Jimmy Bly has started losing his attention and begins to slide in the race rankings. There is Bly's romance with his arch rival's girl friend Sophia as well as no wonder, with all the immense pressure being shoveled upon him by his promoter brother. With much riding on Bly, car owner Carl Henry brings former racing star Joe Tanto up to speed to help Bly. To induce back Bly once again to the peak of the positions, Tanto must first deal with the emotional scars left over from the racing accident which took his life.
