Mystified in the beginning, the team understands they feel more powerful as well as a lot more attractive than in the past. As they strain to make sense of their new circumstance, they shed themselves in a twisted game of taking their new vampire abilities to the streets. In this brand-new kind of nightlife, with the limits of life, love and death significantly obscured, it dawns on the group that they can no more rely on each other.
