Hushpuppy, an intrepid girl, lives with her dad, Wink at the border of the world in' the Bathtub', a southern Delta community. Wink love prepares her to the unraveling of the universe--for an occasion when he's no more to protect her. When a mysterious illness contracts, nature flies out of whack --the icecaps melt down, unleashing an army of animals, and also temperatures climb.
