Nora Wilder (Parker Posey) is a single business woman who works at a Manhattan boutique hotel where her great guest relations abilities fall short on the romantic side. If it isn't her loving and dominating mother (Gena Rowlands) who repeatedly fails to set her up, she has her friend's (Drea de Matteo) terrible blind dates to fall back on.
